Glandless Piston Valve, also called a zero leak isolation Piston Valve, has lower and upper sealing rings with a piston as a replacement of seat and gland. All difficulties linked to the conventional seats replacement are overcome. This valve is suitable option to prevent inline leakage and leakage through glands. It can make for leak-proof isolation in the pipelines. As it is a seat less and gland less piston valve, there are piston and sealing rings as it's heart. A leak proof shutoff is achieved by sealing of a burnished piston seals against SS reinforced graphite rings. Its design ensures a long life even at temperatures up to 427 degrees Celsius. There is a piston valve stem and hand wheel connected to a burnished piston. A lantern bush separates two sealing rings between which the piston passes through. These sealing rings are Stainless steel reinforced graphite, featuring sustaining compression exerted by Bonnet & giving soft seal against piston. The upper sealing ring is like a conventional gland packing that prevents the leakage towards atmosphere. The lower sealing ring is like a seat that prevents in line leakage. Both, upper and lower rings are separated with a lantern bush and also allows flow through the Piston Valve. Features :
